[Pic] Important: Police warning about Criminal Coded markings

I have mentioned before that criminals here in S.Africa mark houses, farms, etc before they rob them. You get "criminal scouts" who go into a suburb and stake it out and start marking houses. Later, other criminals in trucks come and they drive along the road looking for markers and they start robbing one house after another.

So what looks like litter outside your house could be a marking intended for criminals. If one sees such suspicious items which could be anything from a coke tin to an empty packet of chips, one should remove it.
