[7 Photos] S.Africa: Beaten to Death for their sneakers

This young fellow and his friend, who were in their 20's were beaten to death by four teenagers (who have since been accused of a 3rd murder as well).



This was the tavern wherein they spent the last few hours of their lives. When they came out they were accosted by four teenagers.



The teenagers wanted their cell phones, but they had none. The teenagers were furious and beat them to death at this spot and stole their takkies (sneakers).



The TV journalist points to the bloodied rocks with which they were beaten to death.



This is the township where it happened.



This woman happened upon their bodies covered in blood. She was horrified.



Here we see a closeup of the blood stained pieces of concrete which they were killed with. Shortly after this double-murder, the teenagers murdered another man and stole his clothes.

By the way, our Minister of Safety & Security has twice avoided TV interviews regarding his remarks that people can winge and whine until they are blue in the face about crime, or they can just leave this country!
