[15 Pics] Incredible photos: The Construction of the Empire State building...

[It is my view that the world has become less efficient over the decades when it comes to what technology we have versus what we can do with it. Look at the construction of the Empire State Building and the Hoover dam. Then, with all the modern laws, look at how slow such developments would be today compared to then. Sure... many men died during the construction... but that was part of the risk. People too far greater risks in those days, and even more incredible risks in ancient times than they will now.

If we had the same attitude as people in bygone ages, we would be progressing much faster than we're doing now. Economies would grow faster and so much more would be done using less.

Our extreme INEFFICIENCIES are largely hidden because we have computers and other technology. But, even those tools are not used anywhere close to their full potential.
