[Pic] New Jewish Memorial to Jews who fought & died on the Boer side in the Anglo-Boer War

The most prominent Jewish newspaper in Johannesburg, "The Jewish Report", ran this story below about Jews who died fighting on the boer side during the Anglo-Boer war.

One Jewish friend of mine from Rhodesia, had also told me that his grandfather had fought on the Boer side. In the 10th July 2009 issue of the Jewish Report they ran the story below:-

While the rothschilds might have bankrolled the whole scenario its still worth noting and remembering that not everyone that belong to a group endorces that groups's values. You had good christians in soviet russia, good traditional germans in nazi germany, and so on and so forth. Condemming a whole people for the actions of the mighty few is foolishness, especially if brainwashing is the order of the day.

Just would like to point out that there were hundreds of English-speakers (cape colonists) that also fought on our side, they surely are more deserving of honour than a few Jews. Bear in mind that while their sacrifice was appreciated, it was the de Rothschilds bank that bankrolled the expansionist dreams of both Kitchener and the arch-fiend Jameson.

No I know nothing about Kasrils' grandfather. Do you have some source for that?

She's due out on thursday after 2 weeks in hospital, most of the time in high care. What a story... There's lots to tell. Some of it good, and some of it stupid and idiotic. Thank goodness my mom is in good shape for her age and is much stronger than others 10+ years her junior. I'll write about that.

Jan -Tell your readers that Kasrils grandfather was "decorated" by De la Rey (or someone) for being the best "Spioen en Skerpskutter".

BTW hows your Mom? You havnt given us any news about her. I do hope shes better. Is she still confused? It will get better if shes back home by now.
