Introduction of the Earthship to Orania

Ludwig & Retha Everson have returned to Orania, South Africa to build an 'Aardskip' (Earthship). The Earthship is basically an environmentally friendly self-sufficient home, built from recycled materials and provides the home with its own electricity and water. Personally I think this is a great endeavour. I like how it is self-sufficient in terms of cutting out the water and electricity companies. Think about it, no more Eskom blackouts! In addition, if people in South Africa dig the Earthship, it could create many jobs and a whole new industry for South Africa. Ludwig en Retha Everson het onlangs vanaf Nederland terug gekeer Orania toe. Hulle is van plan om n Aardskip in Orania te bou, dit is basies n ekologies selfstandige huis wat met afval materiaal, veral ou buitebande gebou word en die huis is heeltemal selfstandig i.t.v Elektrisiteit en water voorsiening. Ludwig en Retha gaan by die Wetenskap en Kunstefees 'n lesing gee oor Aardskepe.
