S.Africa: Mbeki's Top Secret Plan to achieve 6% growth in GDP

Date Posted: Monday 25-Jul-2005

[I had to laugh at Mbeki saying the other day that they would aim for 6% growth in GDP.

I was wondering to myself how the hell would they achieve it, with all the damage Affirmative Action and their various Labour Laws and Racial quotas were doing to this country?

They interviewed some economists on TV. One female economist said something like this: "What this country needs is SKILLS..."

I agree with her, but the ANC's Racial Quotas are putting skilled Whites out of work and replacing them with badly skilled non-Whites - so the ANC is not solving the problem - they're making it worse.

But then, cynically, I thought to myself:-

1) We must remember this is President Thabo Mbeki - you know - the man who was going to fix all of Africa - that "African Rennaissance" - "Reinventing Africa". The "Mr Fix It" of Africa. Nothing ever came of his so-called "African Rennaissance". He had a big mouth - and that's pretty much where it ended.

2) Of course, maybe Mbeki does have a secret plan to fix S.Africa. Maybe it consists of turning S.Africa into the Organised Crime Center of the World. It is said that S.Africa is a major hub for international drug trafficking now. So that must be bringing in some good money eh? And we have the Chinese bringing in tons and tons of Mandrax and selling TIK to coloured teenagers all across the Cape. The Chinese are flooding S.Africa with drugs. The 45 tons of Mandrax they discovered the other day, is valued at between R1.2 - 2.0 billion. They say, that this is only 1/5th of the total amount of Mandrax actually available in S.Africa! Stunning eh? The Chinese are possibly laundering their own Organised Crime money through S.Africa as well.

Who knows what other international criminals/terrorists are getting special deals in S.Africa these days?

So maybe, I mustn't be too skeptical... maybe Thabo Mbeki does have a Top Secret plan to turn us into a thriving International Organised Crime center and maybe it will indeed help get us to 6% growth?

We've seen Mugabenomics in action - which is to smash everthing in your country into pieces, terrorise your population and still stand up, without blushing, and declare your country a "democracy". Has Mugabe got balls or what?

Maybe Mbekinomics is to turn your country into the Crime Capital of the World with the aid of Organised Criminals from Communist countries and to declare yourself a Capitalist? Jan]
