[This is one of the old but important stories from the original AfricanCrisis website that I am converting on to the new site, in the new format. I received these photos about 3-4 years ago from Jay Jay Sibanda of the CZA (Concerned Zimbabweans Abroad). Jay Jay later passed away from AIDS. The last photo, showing the black people protesting against Mugabe was taken in South Africa. This was one of many photos taken by Jay Jay of the many excellent protests he held here at the time. However, due to his activities he got into trouble with the ANC ruling party in South Africa and they then went to work on him psychologically to get him away from the path of open opposition to Mugabe. I suspect that they promised him things, and eventually he faded away into total insignificance and later still, the last I heard, he died of AIDS. Jan]
| | Farm Violence, Murder & Torture in ZimbabweI would like to thank Mr Jay Sibanda of Concerned Zimbabweans Abroad for these photos. He can be contacted by e-mail at: CFB_Zim_Nats@Yahoo.com. They are looking for funds for various protests & activities in South Africa to pressurise the South African Government to act on Zimbabwe. Please support them.
Note: Further on you will see photos of murder, torture & animal mutilation. Then there is the story of the dog which refused to leave its dead master's side.
NB: I have heard from several Zimbabweans in Johannesburg that there is a black man who has photos of an incident where Mugabe's people tied a chord to a man's genitals and then ripped them off. But this guy wants to sell these photos for quite a price. I will see what I can do to try and get hold of them.

She went on to write that:- "I have just heard that nine MDC [Movement for Democratic Change] women have been taken to a camp and are being gang raped... being invected with HIV is a death sentence in Africa... President Mbeki you are condoning all this - you are complicit....."

| | This photo was in DIE BEELD, a major South African newspaper. This is a protest held in Sandton, Johannesburg by the Concerned Zimbabweans Abroad as they try to put pressure on the South African government to act against Mugabe. Both protests they held were very successful, but even so, they need support from anyone, any where. If you would like to assist them in any way, no matter how small you can contact them by e-mail at: CFB_Zim_Nats@Yahoo.com.
