[Pic] S.Africa: Johannesburg: Thank God I am a Black man...

Here is a sticker I've seen a number of times on the cars of blacks. I'm not sure exactly what the significance of it is for them. Perhaps it is because they realise that now life discriminates in their favour and that Affirmative Action works for them.

I took these photos recently. The sticker is on the black guys' pick up truck window - on the right.

And here it is: "Thank God I am a Black man. Amen".

I remember a number of years back I saw this great bumper sticker on this VW beetle in JHB and it said:

"This car was a Porsche, before I called the witch doctor a K*****".

You have to admit that is a good one. You don't have to post this comment, just thought I would make you laugh..........

BTW, please not my change in address as I no longer work at Hatch as I was one of the thousands in Canada that got layed-off work..... What Can I dooooooo........

What’s tragic is that if you have a "Thank God I’m Black" sticker, nothing will happen to your car. If you have a "Thank God I’m White" sticker, some black thug will destroy your car.

And that is blatant racism.

Hi Lars,
I was thinking the same thing later as well. If I put up a sticker saying: "Thank God I am White", I'd be accused of a racism. Worse still, imagine I advertised and sold such bumper stickers - I wouldn't be surprised if Police came to arrest me for it. It would actually be racism by their narrow definition.

Yeah, RWR, maybe they know what lies ahead for the White man, having attended some ANC rallies and hearing Jacob Zuma sing: Bring me my machinegun... and so maybe they genuinely are happy to be black because they know better what lies ahead for the white man because they've heard their brothers plotting our future... and ... we're not in our future! Our future is... well... minus US!

Well, If I dared I'd put a sticker on my car to read:" Thank God I'm a white man".

Simply because I am thankful for being white.

No, I think they are under the illusion that due to their "noble savage" status, they have the moral superiority to us. Deep down, I bet he wishes he had the brains of a white man, even though his black skin can buy him favours now.

Or perhaps, there's a song with that title somewhere ...

Maybe it's because they are all becoming so "wit", that they need to remind themselves that they are still actually black........??

He has that sticker on his Bakkie so that him and his Bakkie will be overlooked in the coming Black on White genocide. He knows something that we dont. He is not thankful that he is Black. He is thankful that he is NOT WHITE, because he knows what will happen to Whites in the near future...

I'm also trying to figure out the exact message myself.

It is a mysterious message because the converse of it is: "Thank God I am NOT a White man".

Does it include: "Thank God I am NOT an Indian man" or "Thank God I am not a Coloured Man?"

If you look at it from the opposite side, then it becomes more mysterious. WHY is he thankful he is a Black man?

Or does it mean, for example, that he knows being a BLACK MAN, the Laws are now on HIS SIDE... so... Could he also be saying: "Thank God I am a Black man because Affirmative Action is on MY SIDE!" Or: "Thank God I am not a White Man because then I'd have Affirmative Action against me".

Clearly it seems to hint at some sort of advantage that a BLACK MAN enjoys... And by "Black Man" does he merely mean it in the Black/White sense, or is it Black specifically, while not including Indians?

Its a bit of a mysterious thing...
