Zimbabwe: Mugabe accuses the Whites of trying to Foment unrest - Campaign to Intimidate & arrest the last few Whites

[In this article it mentions the arrest of 1,800 black people for conspiring to overthrow the Govt!

I have a lot to say about the piece below, so let me get going:-

Let's start with Eddie Cross. Eddie Cross is accused of being a racist and being a colonial, blah, blah blah. Well, I know someone who was in the Police Special Branch during the time of Rhodesia and he was watching people like Eddie Cross and even regarding him as the enemy of Rhodesia. Now I'm not one to stand and sing praises to Eddie Cross, but let's at least get our facts straight about what Eddie Cross is, and what Eddie Cross is not. To regard Eddie Cross as a "White Colonial bringing back Rhodesia" is complete and utter nonsense of the highest degree. This does not, in any way, shape or form represent even a close parallel to Eddie Cross's actual political sympathies and actual career.

Instead what we see here is a massive effort to take a white person, because they are white and to repaint them as colonials, racists, Rhodesians, etc regardless of their actual political sympathies and activities over the years. It also shows what a miserable lot of black racists there are on Mugabe's side that they have to take whites, even whites who were 110% on their side and on Mugabe's side and to take them and regard them as "racist trash" and then slander, smear and misrepresent them.

For me of course, this is to be expected. I warned in my book, Government by Deception (2001), that a white person, any white person, regardless of whether they supported black rule, would find themselves tainted. Even the most Liberal white person would be regarded as an enemy in the end. No white person will escape this. And this is what we're seeing here. (The ANC will of course do the same thing in South Africa too - they're heading down the same path). In the end, the biggest racists of all, and the ones who are least able to forget skin colour are in fact these leftist, so-called "Liberators". In Government by Deception I wrote that I am sure that here in South Africa, that when the ANC goes to bed at night that I'm sure they dream and wish Apartheid would return because Apartheid was the only thing they could hold against us. Apartheid was the only thing that gave them a reason for their worthless political movement to exist. Without Apartheid they are nothing, and they have absolutely nothing to contribute either to this country nor to the black people. And so it is with Mugabe. All he can claim is that he destroyed White Colonial rule. That's all. Apart from his schooling, for a while, he brought nothing to his people, and in the end, he heaped massive ruin on them. But, racist bastard that he is, he keeps pointing to the whites, while he is busy beating, killing, raping and torturing the blacks. He keeps telling them: "Those white pigs over there are your enemy." But it is not the white pigs who are beating, killing, raping, torturing or stealing from the blacks. It is him and his filthy cabal. While they are lying to the blacks and stealing from them, their diversion is to divert black attention to the whites so that the blacks do not notice whose hand is in their pocket.

Mugabe's trash now claim that Whites control the economy. That says something doesn't it? They drove 90% of the white farmers off the land, and from 1980 until now, more than 90% of the white population has left. He always blamed the whites for the poverty of the blacks. But after driving all the whites out, claiming that he would improve the lives of blacks, he instead finds himself in a country that has totally collapsed, and even now, at the end, a handful of whites are still the only positive force in the economy trying to hold things together. If he were sane, he'd say: "Thank you, you nice loyal, hardworking white people for putting up with my garbage rule and with my incessant hate speech of you". If he were sane, he'd admit that the white people are a loyal force for good. The white people pay taxes, the white people go to work, the white people keep the economy of his stupid country running. But no, never so much as one word of thanks to the whites for anything.

He always sits there screaming about the whites. There are hardly any whites left, and 80% of the whites who are left are probably all over 60 anyway. The whites he rants against are a bunch of geriatrics ready for either wheel chairs or their death beds. But the man cannot let the whites be. He cannot leave the whites alone, even after many lived quietly under his rule and were good citizens for over 25 years. Let there be no doubt that there is no worse racist than Mugabe himself.

So what is good enough for Mugabe? Must he see to it that each and every last flipping white in the country must have their brains knocked out of their skulls? Would that be good enough for Robert bloody Mugabe? Will he be satisfied when either every last white is DEAD or has left the country?

I have said many times over the years that racist communist trash like Mugabe will attack the whites and moan about the whites even if there is only one last white person left in all of Zimbabwe. Even then, he will find cause to rant against this one last white person to blame them for anything and everything in that country.

Again I say, the MDC's biggest crime in Mugabe's eyes is that whites are involved in it. (Of course Mugabe had his own whites in secret pay too. But he never mentions them). He hates the MDC because of some whites in it. So now, suddenly, the MDC is this vast White Rhodesian conspiracy which must be beaten to death. That's why Mugabe's people portray Morgan Tsvangirai as "the tea boy". They say he is the SERVANT OF THE WHITES. Of course, this is just an attempt at reverse psychology. This is to try to intimidate the senior black leaders in the MDC and to try to drive a wedge between them and the few senior whites in the MDC. The aim is to pretend that the whites are pulling the strings everywhere and that Tsvangirai is just another servant of the whites. If Tsvangirai or other senior blacks in the MDC fall for this, then it shows just what racists they too are. If, deep down in the black psyche, the blacks are unable to listen to the merits of an argument and prefer to judge whites in the MDC on their skin colour, then, well, that's their own problem. I hope that the senior black leaders in the MDC are better than this. But this is no doubt the racist angle Mugabe is coming from.

Years ago, when I tried in my own small way to help Jay Jay Sibanda and his Concerned Zimbabweans Abroad, I wrote some emails which were intercepted by the ANC in South Africa. They called Jay Jay in for questioning. Jay Jay was called to Shell House in Johannesburg where the ANC Intelligence Dept existed at the time. Jay Jay later showed me the annotated notes of my email which the ANC had intercepted. (I really must publish those emails). Anyway, the ANC's first questions to Jay Jay were, "Who is this Jan Lamprecht? Why are YOU TAKING ORDERS FROM A WHITE MAN?" Well, I wasn't in charge of Jay Jay. I was merely assisting him and giving him input and he was consulting with me whenever he felt the need. But the ANC in South Africa immediately were doing the same thing then as Mugabe is now. They were jumping on their high horse, and accusing this black guy of "taking orders from a white man". The whole business was quite ridiculous. But it shows what a bunch of paranoid black racists they are, and they lose their minds completely when it turns out that white people are friendly to their opposition. Suddenly, every white man is a "racist bringing back Colonialism" and any black person who is friendly to them is suddenly "the servant of a white man". The reality is that they are probably jealous and threatened when they see that whites REJECT THEM. Whites reject Mugabe's ZANU PF, and Whites reject the ANC. So when they see whites being friendly to their opposition they immediately do their nut and want to run around screaming all kinds of wild things. The reality is, if they looked at themselves in the mirror they'd find that THEY ARE THE BIGGEST RACISTS OF ALL! You won't find a more rabid racist than you'll find in ZANU or in the ANC.

I find this mention of the training camps in Ruwa most interesting since I grew up in Ruwa. I must admit that "Kudu Creek" is not a name I recall from that time. When they say it is 30Km from Harare, then it sounds a lot further away than where I grew up. Ruwa, the centre of Ruwa, is only 20Km from Harare. I lived about 1-2Km away from the heart of Ruwa. So perhaps Kudu Creek is quite a bit further away. But near where I grew up there was a Boy Scouts camp. I often rode my bike there or "explored" down the river and entered the boy scouts camp that way.

Whether Whites are in fact doing anything that Mugabe claims they are doing is another question. Mugabe is a master at the art also of severe over-exaggeration. He makes lots of claims. Let's see him produce some evidence. He claims whites are doing this and that, but if this is so, then why doesn't he parade the evidence before the cameras? If whites are running military training camps within 30Km of Harare, then why can't he show us photos and show us the equipment there? Is there even so much as one rifle in this "army"? Mugabe and his rabid black racists can carry on screaming all they want, but up until now, I've not seen a single photo, nor seen so much as one ounce of evidence that the MDC or the Whites in Zimbabwe are up to anything illegal nor military in nature. If Mugabe has all this evidence he must come forward and show it to the media so we can see it. If he doesn't then we all know once more that Mugabe is crying wolf and screaming and ranting about the whites endlessly as he always does. He screams at the whites and blames them for everything while he is busy stealing from and destroying the blacks.

He blames the whites for undermining the September 15 peace deal. That's rich. I like that. He signs a deal with Tsvangirai, then proceeds to cheat Tsvangirai and the MDC, but he blames the whites. Its our fault. Mugabe does not like the fact that the MDC is friendly to whites and that whites are friendly to the MDC. That's why Mugabe always has to blame the whites. But Mugabe, if left to his own devices will screw the MDC and has screwed many other black political parties in the past. Perhaps what Mugabe is really irritated with is the fact that he is no longer able to just pull the wool over the eyes of the blacks and to screw other black groups as and when he feels like it. His game has been messed up. And it is of course, the damned whites' fault. No Mugabe, you liar and cheater you. You only have yourself to blame for the failure of the 15 September deal. You tried to cheat the MDC incessantly, and they called it a day. Now you pretend to be upset by that. (I doubt you really are).

Mugabe's senior supporters who claim that Britain and America are "bankrolling the 2nd coming of Rhodesia", are once more engaging in some psychological warfare. This is to make the West run away out of shame. But the claim is also utter nonsense of the highest order. Mugabe tries to pretend that anything other than his own rule is, by definition, "white Colonialism". So only Robert Mugabe and only ZANU are allowed to rule Zimbabwe. (You'll see the same thing in South Africa - only the ANC is allowed to actually rule here). This is just complete and utter nonsense. This is a man clinging to power and telling any lie to mislead his own people into thinking there is an enemy out there. THE ONLY ENEMY THE BLACK PEOPLE OF ZIMBABWE HAVE IS ROBERT MUGABE! ITS THAT SIMPLE!

And that covers all the issues I wished to address. All the rantings of Mugabe, Charamba and the rest of the corrupt and evil old cabal are merely intended to once more divert attention away from their own failures; their own oppression of the black people and their own violation of democracy. They said to the blacks: Get rid of the Whites and life will be great. But it was not so. The problem was not the whites. The problem is Robert Mugabe and ZANU PF, and quite frankly, they must go. The only thing that saddens me, and breaks my heart, is that we will have to sit and watch Mugabe and ZANU PF continuing on with the destruction of that country for quite a time to come. But one day, these destroyers must themselves be destroyed. Only then can there be hope for that country. Jan]

HARARE
Embattled Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe is piling more pressure on the country's dwindling white community, with a campaign of intimidation and arrests.

Mugabe, who, of late, has been using warlike demagoguery to frighten critics, alleges that the opposition Movement for Democratic Change, MDC, is taking instructions from its "white masters". He has repeated his mantra that the MDC will never rule "my Zimbabwe", and says he will not surrender the country to white colonialists.

Mugabe's government has stepped up a propaganda campaign against the 40,000 whites, who live among 12.5-million blacks in the former British colony that Mugabe led to independence in 1980.

Whites are being accused of training hit squads to overthrow Mugabe and undermine the September 15 power-sharing deal.

At the same time, the security forces are stepping up verbal and physical threats against whites, jailing some for allegedly fomenting unrest against the regime.

On January 7, heavily armed soldiers, police and intelligence officers raided an outdoor training camp called Kudu Creek in Ruwa, 30 kilometres from Harare, and seized three white men who do adventure training with boy scouts, tourists and others involved in outdoor pursuits, alleging that they are training terrorists to topple Mugabe.

The three men, alleged by a police spokesman to have been members of the Selous Scouts, a special forces regiment of Ian Smith's Rhodesian army, which operated from 1973 until the introduction of majority rule, have been involved in adventure training since the early 1980s and are well known in Ruwa. According to the police, they are now "facing terrorism charges for training bandits".

In another incident, a group of white doctors assessing the widespread cholera epidemic that has claimed an estimated 1,800 victims were jailed last week, accused of being on an undercover mission to overthrow Mugabe.

The crackdown on the country's few remaining white farmers has intensified markedly, despite a ruling by a Southern African Development Community, SADC, tribunal in Namibia in November that the land reform programme was racist.

Almost four months after the signing of the power-sharing deal, there is still no government in place. The MDC blames Mugabe for the delay, saying he wants to retain all the key ministries, including foreign affairs, home affairs and finance. Western governments have called for the MDC to have the upper hand in government.

Mugabe's press secretary, George Charamba, in his weekly column in the Herald last weekend, under the alias Nathaniel Manheru, claimed whites still control the economy and scorned the remaining 400 white farmers, down from 4,500 before the start of the land grab in 2000. Mugabe has accused white farmers of bankrolling the MDC.

Charamba also alleged that the "Rhodesians" want control of ministerial portfolios to do with lands, mines and the security ministries, "without which they have realised they cannot back their control of the first two".

He further alleged that whites were forming an alliance with the MDC and regrouping across borders in a bid to repossess land seized from them once the power-sharing deal comes into force.

"With the support of Britain, Europe and America, the dream of a return, a second coming, seems more and more palpable, more and more graspable," he wrote.

Alluding to a column written by Eddie Cross, the MDC policy coordinator, on Zimbabwe Mail Online, suggesting that the MDC is prepared to let the country "crash and burn" if it does not get real authority under the power-sharing deal, Charamba wrote, "On the one hand is a real chance for a second Zimbabwe-Rhodesia, with Tsvangirai at the helm. On the other is ZANU (PF), which, by Cross's reckoning, is now sufficiently weakened to make more and more concessions, if not to capitulate.

"Let no one come under any illusion: Cross is making a case for the best black servant, never for the best black president. He is making a case not for a strong black Zimbabwe, but for a white Rhodesia under a black puppet. His argument for an MDC victory or, the obverse, an argument for ZANU (PF)'s defeat, is a case for Rhodesia's second coming without whose realisation, white Rhodesians are prepared to let Zimbabwe 'crash and burn'."

In his controversial column, Cross wrote, "The GPA (global political agreement or power-sharing agreement) says the MDC is in charge of the bus and MT(Morgan Tsvangirai) is the driver. We just need to make sure, absolutely sure, that there are no dual controls in the front of the bus.

"What the people at the bus stop are saying is 'we will not get on the bus until we are satisfied that the driver is our man and not Mugabe'. And that is not negotiable. If Mugabe is anywhere near the wheel, we would rather let the bus crash and burn."

Cross's comments have provoked an angry response not only from Charamba. A militant group in Zimbabwe's ruling party has accused him of having a "colonial mindset" and of being a "dangerous advisor to the MDC".

Even more chilling are threats by Mugabe's shock troops.

"Our members are prepared to pick up arms to resist any attempts by racists of the likes of Cross and the MDC to destabilise the economy and, by extension, the country," Togarepi Pupurai of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Collaborators Association, ZNLWCA, the group at the forefront of the sometimes violent land invasions, warned. "Our duty as the ZNLWCA is to defend the revolution at any cost, this is our mandate as children of the soil." - IWPR

If Mugabe wants to take out the remnant white population, then they should adopt a scorched earth policy, burn what they have and get out. Let Zim die at the hands of Mugabe, and when the country is depopulated to almost zero then it will be time for a new Rhodesia. All the West must do is blockade communist aid from getting through, and destroy all of Mugabe's financial sources. (where possible)
