SA: I was at the launch of Kevin Woods' book... Fabulous...

I went this evening to the launch of Kevin Woods' book at the Military Museum in Johannesburg. I was stunned at how many people pitched up for it and it was a wonderful event.

Kevin is actually a totally BRILLIANT speaker. He speaks easily, and he had people laughing and clapping. Some very interesting things were said... really interesting things, which I must write about and tell you all, including a discussion on attempts to kill Mugabe by PW Botha in S.Africa!!

After his talk, I went up to him and met him face to face and bought a copy of his book which he autographed.

It really was a lovely evening. It definitely counts as only one of three occasions in my life here in South Africa where I felt I was in a room with a *LOT* of like-minded people.

I took a few photos and then hit on the idea of recording some of what he said. How successful my attempts were, remain to be seen, I'll check it out tomorrow.

Kevin said some amazing things. I'm definitely looking forward to reading his book.

It seems to me that Kevin is originally a Rhodesian. He explained that the reason he worked as a double-agent for the South African Govt was BECAUSE HE HAD MADE A PERSONAL DECISION TO FIGHT THE ANC!!

Kevin also explained some fascinating things about the 1980's, including that HE SAVED THE LIVES OF MANY PEOPLE IN SOUTH AFRICA BY SORTING OUT THE ANC IN ZIMBABWE AND STOPPING SOME OF THEIR BOMBING IN SOUTH AFRICA!

This book definitely exposes a side of ANC activities which some people in S.Africa may not be too keen to hear about.

I will post some more articles about Kevin Woods tomorrow and see if my recordings work and can be posted on the site. Jan.

Will Kevin's book be available on AC? If not, can you give us info on how to order it? I also would love to contact him and find out if any of the drawings he made in prison are still available.
