[3 Pics] Zim: Satellite Photos & Details of Robert Mugabe's mansion

Thanks to all the people who gave input into finding Robert Mugabe's new mansion on GoogleEarth. It hardly took a few hours for me to get feedback on where his home is and that is what I will show you now.

But does anyone know where the President's official residence in Harare is. Surely this is not it? Isn't this his own private home? I'd like to find where the official President's residence is as well. Isn't that near the centre of Harare?

Here is where Mugabe's mansion is situated on the map. Harare city centre is in the middle on your left. I marked the location of our former home at 349 Samora Machel Ave. On the far right I marked the location of our former dairy farm out at Ruwa - which are 16Km apart - as the crow flies, accordingt to Google. The distance from 349 Samora Machel to Mugabe's home is: 13Km. Mugabe's home is 24Km in a straight line from Harare International airport.

Here is a high-level view of his home and the plush location. Is that his own park or what?

Here is a close-up of his home. It is multi-storied. You can see the driveway coming along the top.

Now for some measurements. The distance from the closest edge of his house to the road is 65 metres. His driveway is about 47 metres long. The house is 74 metres wide. The house's maximum "depth" is 45 metres. There is a small dam behind the house.

Google gives this as the latitude & longitude of Mugabe's home:

Thanks for everyone's help. Does anyone know the name of the road where his mansion is located? Does anyone have any details of the security surrounding his house? I'm sure there must be a lot of it. I see no overt signs of it. I thought everybody in the world should know where the murderous scumbag spends his nights. Jan.

People of the great Zimbabwe, president Mugabe is our leader so lets not blame him for his colleagues deeds. First lets take the situation as it was before, then after the sanctions imposed, he was to blame. So what a shame! Lets all stand to build our country. UNITY IS THE ONLY SOLLUTION TO THE IMPOSED PROBLEMS.

We all hate Mugabe but let's not ruin this site by saying nonsense.We don't want to turn this into some sort of online tabloid.
You're mis-informed.Tongogara was not trusted by ZANLA AT ALL..he was a mentally disturbed man and money hungry..Like Joshua N Nkomo,he'd have been in it to enrich himself. Tongogara was a good soldier otherwise nothing else. Samora Machel(who was financing ZANU) didn't want him too.Infact Machel didn't want Mugabe because he said Mugabe wasn't an out and out soldier and would most likely become pro Western.But there was no other person intelligent enough to be leader of ZANU so he reluctantly settled for Bob.

google "excerpts of Wilfred Mhanda's book"...(I once spoke to Mhanda way before he published his book..He used to speak personally to Samora Machel..It was him who played a MAJOR & DECISIVE role in helping Mugabe become party leader ) Even Edgar Tekere said that Mugabe did not kill Tongogara...
I personally think Machel had something to do with Tongogara's death.
Chitepo and Takawira wouldn't have been killed by Mugabe because Mugabe had NO desire whatsoever to become party president.

I KNOW SOME PEOPLE WOULD BE INTERESTED TO KNOW, THAT IT IS TRUE ,THAT MUGABE KILLED TONGAGARA WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE NEW ZIMBABWEAN PRESIDENT IN 1980.
EVEN THE DEATH OF LEOPOLD TAKAWIRA WAS ENGINEERED BY BOB HIOMSELF.
SHORTLY AFTER INDPENDENCE , BROADCASTING CAMERAS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO FILM ROBERT MUGABE EATING BECAUSE HE WOULD ASK FOR TWO MEALS ,OF WICH THE OTHER MEAL WAS FOR TONGOGARA .

That's not Bob's mansion.That house is said to be owned by a certain Dr Yusuf who lives in Tanzania.Apparently Gordon Brown once spent a few hours/nights at that place when he went to Tanzania. I used to have larger images of the pictures and i noticed that most of the pictures on the walls were of white people.I can't tell whether it's Arabs or white.
I wouldn't be suprised if people start connecting that house to Zimbabwe's Reserve Bank governor Gideon Gono because he's building a mega-mansion too.

Yep,that is Mugabe's mansion..Though that picture is a few years old.The house has two lakes and in that picture there's only one lake..Construction was obviously underway then.. I'll give you some more details.
It has 25 bedrooms adjoining spas and bathrooms.It has a fully equiped gym and numerous lounges. It has more than 3 acres of accomodation including two storey reception rooms.The roofing,interior pillars,floor tiles and various items were donated by the Chinese government and timber by the Malaysian government.It is three times bigger than Zimbabwe's official presidential residence.It's set in 45 acres of heavily wooded area and patrolled by soldiers twently four seven...The area is a protected area which means you MUST have permission to loiter around there otherwise you WILL be shot at or killed..If birdwatching is your thing,then pray to God your birds aren't flocking to that place.. It was built by a Yugoslav company called Energo Project.The project was overseen by Mugabe's right hand,favourite and most trusted man..Emmerson Mnangagwa..(he owns a huge diamond mine and a coltan mine in Congo..An American company with close links to Bush has been trying to get this coltan mine for ages.. He could be Zimbabwe's wealthiest man,i think he's worth around £1billion.He's quite secretive and private too.He's CIO...infact most of the CIO is made up of dealers,prostitutes,truck drivers,village chiefs...Anyone can be a CIO..that's why they are VERY succesful..They look for very good memory & excellent report writing).Anyway,
Mugabe's house is in an area called Crowhill..,just off Helensvale in Borrowdale.This Crowhill area is also where his rich 50year old nephew,Philip Chiyangwa(of Affirmative Action Group fame...somewhat similar to BEE where blacks MUST be given shares in huge white owned companies), lives.His house has 18/19 bedrooms all ensuite with plasma TVs.It has 3 heliports,15 car ports,25...YES..twenty five lounges!Indoor pool,outdoor pool,spas,gym etc.His cars include the ENTIRE BMW range,from 335i to Z4 to M5 to 760iL.AMG Mercedes,his and her's Bentley convertibles,Porche 4x4s and the ultimate status symbol in Zimbabwe...A fully loaded Mercedes S600 V12.There is something about this car and black Zimbabwean men..Similar to black South Africans and BMW 3 series.
Grace Mugabe also supervised the construction of her husband's palace..( Oh another thing..Chiyangwa's friend,the now late Peter Pamire, was trying to get it on with Mugabe's wife Grace.He died in a mysterious car accident.The brakes of his Mitsubishi Pajero were cut off..the steering was tampered with in such a way that the wheels went in a different direction when driven at a certain speed.For example if you steered to the left,they'd go right..) She was married to a Zimbabwe army commander who was transferred to China soon after Mugabe started dating her...and that husband has been based in China ever since. Rumour has it that he's now dead.
Anyway,another thing.I've just finished my investigations on witchcraft in Zimbabwe..I will post it soon.All i can say is that voodoo does work but ONLY if used in an evil way so that evil will result..It's pretty scary what happens in some of these houses.If you're a white manager in Southern Africa...There's a 50% chance that your tea was spiked in such a way that your views of that lazy black worker changed..OR a sangoma chanted your name somewhere down the line..Anyone here with domestics that you are ready to fire but just can't bring yourself to do it???If you're here...my friend...Wake up and smell that coffee.. Just thought I have to mention this interesting fact which not many people are aware of. This will shed some light on SA government - in particular Thabo Mbeki - who did not raise a finger to help fight Mugabe. IT IS HIS BROTHER-IN-LAW!! let's keep the spoils from the land in the family, shall we?

Is there just one - from the south to the north - who is not corrupt?
The only decent one was Nelson Mandela - and unfortunately he has stepped down (& I don't blame him - he knew that it is impossible to fart against thunder.)
This sorry state of affairs is because the stupid do-gooders of the western world haven't a clue about "African ethos", and how it works!
