S.Africa: Reader: I read Government by Deception TWICE!

I have finished reading your book a while ago (actually read it twice!) and just wanted to say one of the most interesting and informative books Ive ever read - Thank you! (My dad is enjoying it now!)

Ive returned from the Uk end of last year so dont have as much access to the internet anymore. But I try to read all your articles as much as possible, the country has gone so backwards in the 2 years we were gone, I am still getting used to it, money is nothing and crime is the worst, the "security complex" where we stay, 4 cars wheels have been stolen and a car broken into, my partners best friend has been shot for no reason and another one of his friends has been found hanged with his hands tied behind his back, they dont think he commited suicide because he just had a baby girl and was happy, they are still "investigating".

We are at a point where we actually wish for a civil war to start, my parents are preparing for war (sounds harsh) but better to be prepared, if nothing happens you can just laugh it off, and have lots of can food for a year!

You are right, ALL should be prepared as best possible for difficult times ahead, and my home is here in the Pacific Northwest. Americans should prepare also for our own trials to come.

Thanks for those very lovely comments about Government by Deception. And I am delighted to hear your dad is reading it. I want it spread around and encourage people to lend it to friends.

Regarding wishing for Civil War:

In many ways I feel the same. With regard to Zimbabwe, I feel there should have been Civil War there since 2000.

I do think, as a general principle it is good for people to start thinking in SURVIVALIST TERMS. Think in terms of stashing away food, ensuring you have petrol (you can't store it for longer than 6 months), etc. Perhaps buy a generator. Look at your physical security. People must get into a survivalist state of mind - that way - no matter what happens you are prepared for it.

Look, the country is GOING DOWN... and its a case of accepting that and preparing the state of mind that allows you to deal with that, live with it, and possibly, even prosper while it is going down (this is sometimes quite possible).

Plus of course, one should always be working on other people's minds... preparing THEM.

ANC rule will lead to a complete stuff-up. The USA and Britain are trying to prevent it, but I have my doubts about their ability to succeed.

Mbeki has ZERO intention of doing anything about crime.

It is also of course, an exciting time to live too. So one must not be negative and down-hearted about things. There *ARE* ways of fighting forward... and many amazing things will happen once whites, like uranium, reach a "certain critical mass". When enough whites feel the same way, coupled perhaps with Coloureds and maybe even Indians along with certain SEGMENTS of the black population... I think we could have some wild things happening.

Civil War might not happen tomorrow, or next year, but stick around... at the rate things are going, I think that when southern Africa *BLOWS* - it will *EXPLODE* more violently than the Middle East. I believe Zimbabwe will be the first to blow... and when it does... its gonna take everything else with it.

This nonsense Mugabe started in 2000, will eventually blow... If the MDC does not take him, someone else, eventually will.
